Mayor Jessup Delivered 2012 State of the City Address
I want to sincerely thank everyone who attended the 2012 State of the City Address. I look forward to working with all of our neighbors in the City of Lawrence. By working hard together we will be able to grow this City even further. This is and will continue to be a Midwest destination we can be proud of here in the City of Lawrence.

The Moving Wall Vietnam Veterans Memorial
The Fort Harrison Veteran's Center, the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 295, and the City of Lawrence are proud to host The Moving Wall Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the historic Lawton Loop Parade Field. The opening ceremony will be May 17th at 7:00 p.m. The Moving Wall will stay in Lawrence until the 21st of May and will be open to the public at all times.
