ARRA Stimulus Project Road Repairs in the City of Lawrence

The following is tentative dates for paving/resurfacing Carroll Road, Sunnyside Road and 56th Street using funding from the Federal ARRA Stimulus Package. The contract for this work is under the control of the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT).

Carroll Road is to be done in three phases with tentative start and finish dates as noted below:
Carroll Road - 75th to 79th Street                        5/15/2010 to 7/10/2010
Carroll Road - 79th to 86th Street                        6/22/2010 to 8/13/2010
Carroll Road - Pendleton Pike to 75th Street           7/01/2010 to 8/13/2010

56th Street - Caito Drive to Boy Scout Rd              6/15/2010 to 8/15/2010

Sunnyside Road - Pendleton Pike to 79th Street      6/30/2010 to 8/13/2010

The Street Department maintains all roads within the city limits.
(a) Chuckholes
(b) Traffic control (street signs and traffic signs)
(c) Snow and ice control
(d) Installs storm sewers and maintains them
(e) Street sweeping
