Public Records Requests
The first step to obtaining a public records request is to complete a Public Records Request form on this webpage or by using the PDF document linked below.
If you opt to print off the Public Record Request PDF form, you may mail the completed form or bring it in person to the Mayor's Office at 9001 E. 59th Street, Suite 301, Lawrence, Indiana 46216.
A City representative will respond to your request within the timeframe established by Ind. Code § 5-14-3-9. If fees are due for record production, arrangements for payment will be made.
Responses to public records requests are not mailed, unless arrangements are made with a City representative in advance and applicable fees are pre-paid.
