LFD offers bags for safe drug disposal at firehouses

The Lawrence Fire Department is pleased to be a part of Rali Indiana along with Indianapolis Professional Firefighters Union Local 416 in distributing the Deterra drug deactivation system. If you have medications at home that need to be disposed of, stop by one of our five firehouses and claim a bag.They are offered Monday through Friday 9AM to 3PM.
Station # 36 7620 Oaklandon Rd.
Station #37 4902 N. German Church Rd.
Station #38 4450 Mc Coy Street
Station #39 4751 Richardt
Station #40 9530 East 59th Street.
LFD/LPD Communications Center 4450 McCoy St. in the lobby, is a unwanted medication collection box.
We are unable to accept medications or used needles at our firehouses.The Marion County Health Department can assist with used needles, they can be reached at 317-221-7300.
