Mayor presents "We Salute You" package during Common Council meeting

During Monday night's Common Council meeting, Mayor Steve Collier presented a “We Salute You” packet to Phil and Pam Escalante on behalf of their son, Charles Bell. A Military representative stand-in, Staff Sergeant Jesse Badders, represented Sergeant Bell while he is currently deployed. Blue Star Banner Coordinator Mary Jo Rothenbush thanked the Bell family for their son's service to the nation and the City of Lawrence.
