Fort Ben Cultural Campus Grand Opening

In partnership with the City of Lawrence, Arts for Lawrence will host a Grand Opening Weekend for the Fort Ben Cultural Campus on June 18th, 19th, and 20th. The campus will feature a newly-renovated historic Theater, a Visual Arts Center, an Artist Walk, a History Walk, and an Amphitheater, all surrounded by stunning public art displays and green spaces. This weekend will serve as the kickoff to opening the world’s first, permanent set of Musical Swings by Daily Tous les Jours – right here in Lawrence, Indiana!

Please join us for this momentous occasion in both Lawrence’s and Arts for Lawrence’s history. It will be a weekend-long celebration of FREE community events, full of music, poetry, dance, storytelling, art, a community art project, and activities for the whole family.
