Sanitary Sewer Flow Metering Program

The City of Lawrence Sewer Utility is conducting a sanitary sewer flow metering program in order to address requirements under our new Administrative Order of Consent with the EPA. Beginning in February and lasting through July, ADS Environmental Systems, along with American Structurepoint Inc., will be installing, monitoring and maintaining sewage flow meters at various points throughout the City of Lawrence. These two firms are authorized to access the City’s sanitary sewer infrastructure in the public right of way and utility easements to perform this work.
