First Town Hall Meeting A Success!

Our first Town Hall Meeting was a huge success! Thank you to the many community members who came to get their questions answered and learn more about exciting things happening in the City of Lawrence!

Mayor Collier and his team answered questions on a variety of topics including streets, tax rates, Utilities, finances, public safety, economic development, and community events! 

Special thanks to our Moderator and Chief of Staff, Cori Korn for organizing this event! 

A video recording of the meeting is available now on our Facebook page and YouTube channel, and a written version of the questions and answers will be available on the city’s website beginning on April 7th. We answered as many questions as we could in 90 minutes, but we didn't get to everything. We will post answers to all the unanswered submitted questions by the end of the week, too!

Our next Town Hall is scheduled for Thursday, July 13th.
