March 17, 2025

Boil Water Advisory Update For All Lawrence Utilities Customers – March 17, 2025 - 10:00 AM
Repairs have been completed, and the Fort Harrison Water Treatment Plant is back in service. While water service has been restored, the boil water advisory remains in effect as a precaution while we complete required safety testing.
Next Steps
We are currently collecting water samples for lab testing and expect to drop them off by noon today. Results should be available within 24 hours after delivery. We will give updates as soon as we get those results.
Reminder: What To Do During a Boil Water Advisory
Boil tap water for at least 5 minutes before drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or preparing food.
Use bottled or boiled water for drinking and pets.
Handwashing & bathing are safe, but avoid swallowing water.
Dishwashing: A sanitizing cycle on your dishwasher is generally safe.
