“We come from two very different countries.”

"We met in Chicago ten years ago at a company called Royal Prestige. I don't believe in love at first sight, but it was something like that. My wife is Venezuelan, and I am Mexican. We come from two very different countries, and we have had to learn from our cultural differences. Above all, words, there are some words, that have a different meaning for them than for us. There are some words that have an obscene meaning, probably for our culture, which for them is normal and vice versa. The food, too. There are many differences. The food of Venezuela is very tasty. Of course, we [Mexico] are not far behind. The food is quite diverse, but both are delicious. I am from Veracruz, Mexico, and many people come up to me and say “Hey, the Venezuelan accent is already sticking to you.” And I always answer with “No, that is how we speak in Veracruz.” But, well, some things are bound to stick, right? After such a long time."
