Optimists recognize two Lawrence Township students for achievement

Mayor Steve Collier presented proclamations in honor of Kenzie Bandy and Delaney O'Hara at the Optimist's weekly breakfast meeting at Bernie's Place, located in the McKenzie School for Innovation. Mayor Collier recognized the two middle school students for their work ethics and compassion for others in their learning communities. Teachers and families celebrated the students' achievements with breakfast. The Optimist Club presented them with a framed copy of the club creed, a gift certificate and Optimists' pin to honor the students.
