During the 2021 state legislative session, Governor Holcomb signed SB 392 into law which changes how zoning  is handled within Marion County. As such all zoning decisions including rezoning, platting (included waiver requests), and other zoning related requests, filed after July 1st, 2021 with in the City of Lawrence, will be reviewed and decided by City of Lawrence.

City of Lawrence will continue to follow the Indianapolis Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Control Ordinance for all zoning decisions within the City limits More information on the application process and procedures will be available in the coming days.
