LFD & LPD host Community Safety Day at Station 40 August 11

Lawrence Police & Fire Departments will host their annual Community Public Safety Day from 10:00 am-2:00 pm Saturday, August 11th, 2018, at 9530 E 59th St, Lawrence. Community Public Safety Day is designed to promote Community Public Safety Awareness, featuring Police & Fire demonstrations, including Vehicle Extrication, Aerial Ladder Rescue, SWAT, and K9. Vendors have booths to visit to learn about services provided throughout the Lawrence community.
