City raises U.S. Marine Corps' flag honoring 243rd anniversary

Officials gathered this morning at the Government Center to raise the Marine Corps' flag in honor of its 243rd anniversary. Blue Star Banner Coordinator Mary Jo Rothenbush thanked Sgt. Glass and Gunnery Sgt. Skehan for their leadership and assistance in the flag raising and Capt. Brandon for providing the welcome and opening remarks. Chaplain Jim Weinman provided the blessing during the ceremony.
