City Issues RFQ for Environmental Consultant Services

The City of Lawrence has been awarded a federal grant from the United States Environmental Protection Agency in the sum of $300,000 in order to conduct a Community-Wide Brownfield Assessment. The City is seeking proposals from qualified environmental engineering/consulting firms to assist the City with management of the grant and implementation of the environmental assessment. 

All qualified firms with strong backgrounds in environmental assessment and brownfield redevelopment should submit their proposals in a sealed envelop, labeled "Environmental Services for the City of Lawrence, EPA Assessment Grant", to the address listed below.

Alternatively, proposals may be submitted by email containing “Environmental Services for the City of Lawrence, EPA Assessment Grant” in the subject line. Emailed proposals shall be sent to Mr. Joseph Murphy at jmurphy@cityoflawrence.org. Proposals are due on or before November 15, 2019 at 4:30 PM. Late responses to this RFQ will not be accepted.

The City of Lawrence reserves the right to waive any information or minor defects in the RFQ or the RFQ responses / procedure, reject any and all responses, or accept any submittal that is most responsive and responsible as exclusively determined by the City.

Questions related to this RFQ should be directed to Mr. Joseph Murphy at jmurphy@cityoflawrence.org. All questions posed by consultants will be compiled and responses will be sent back to all parties that have posed questions.Questions must be submitted on or before November 10, 2019. Questions received after this date will not be answered. Those that have not posed questions but wish to receive the question and answer information should contact Mr. Murphy via email.
