LFD & CFD Recruit Class 27 Graduation Ceremony

Congratulations to the two newest Probationary Firefighters of the City of Lawrence Fire Department Cody Cushman and Steven Rech!

They trained for 23 weeks alongside six Carmel Fire Department recruits and learned skills ranging from firefighting and emergency medical services to hazardous materials responses. They received their badges and were sworn in by Mayor Steve Collier. Carmel City Council Member Kevin Rider swore in the new CFD recruits.

We wish good luck to the new recruits as they begin their journey into the fire service!
