Sterrett Center's updates will serve community

Parks Director Eric Martin said renovations to the Sterrett Center are nearly complete. The city invested $250,000 in improvements for the event center, located at 8950 Otis Avenue. The Sterrett Center hosts meetings, community events, and is available for rental throughout the year. Martin said the project included painting, flooring, light fixtures and new furniture for the gathering room.
