Local scout picks up trash to earn money to plant trees in Lawrence Parks

Logan Imel is working on getting his Eagle Scout badge by volunteering in Lawrence. He picked up litter along 56^th street last Friday to earn money so he could buy and plant trees in Lawrence Parks. Ray’s Trash Service and Ski Landscape supported his efforts by providing funds to buy the trees, and so far, Logan has planted eight trees in Lawrence Community Park.  Logan performed all of the legwork to form a work crew to dig and plant the trees. Thank you Logan and good luck on your Eagle Scout project!
