Leaders attend Maxwell seminar

Mayor Steve Collier, Fire Chief Dino Batalis and Police Chief David Hofmann joined other leaders from the City and community at the Live2Lead seminar. The Lemler Group hosted the video conference at the Armory with different speakers discussing techniques for positive leadership and development of leaders in the community. John Maxwell was the keynote speaker, but the three hour presentation included Simon Sinek, Liz Wiseman and Dan Cathy. Cathy is the chariman and CEO of Chick-fil-A and a motivational speaker. LPD & LFD Chaplain Mel Keaton said the conference was a good opportunity to network and learn more about effective leadership.
