Oaklandon Street Improvements Underway

City of Lawrence DPW has officially kicked off the 2025 paving season — and work is already underway in the Oaklandon neighborhood!
Crews began milling and paving on Paradise Ln, Paradise Ct, Paradise Dr, and Broadway St on Monday.
Next up on the schedule:
May 14–19: River Oaks @ Geist Subdivision
May 19–20: 53rd St, Normal Dr, Longworth Pl
May 19–20: East Hill Dr, 52nd St/Boy Scout Rd
May 21: Hess Ave
Important Reminder for Residents:
Please move all vehicles off the roadway on your scheduled paving day(s) to help crews work efficiently and safely.
All work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
