United States Navy 248th Anniversary

10/13/23 Honor, courage, and commitment are the core values of the United States Navy. On the 248th anniversary, let us be thankful at heart for those who have served, and those currently serving. Mayor Collier raised the flag in honor of our U.S. Navy men and women, while Chaplain Mel Keaton provided a blessing for the ceremony. Mayor’s wife, Chris, and several City of Lawrence staff were in attendance to recognize and celebrate our wonderful military who keep us safe and free. Gratitude ~
