AARP Tax Assistance Program at the Fort Ben Library

For the past decade, volunteers from AARP have been providing free tax assistance to senior citizens in Lawrence, making tax season a little less stressful for the elderly population. This service has traditionally been offered at our Community Center in the Community Park. However, this year marks a change in venue.

New Location: Fort Ben Library

The AARP Tax Assistance Program will now take place at the Fort Ben Library. This change in location aims to continue providing accessible and efficient tax preparation services for senior citizens while utilizing a space that is convenient. All ages are welcome, but appointments are required. Please visit the Fort Ben branch library beginning January 22, to make an appointment.
