Honoring the Career of FF Mike Stone

Today, we celebrated the incredible 29-year career of Firefighter Mike Stone with the City of Lawrence Fire Department as he begins his well-earned retirement.

- Mayor Whitfield presented him with a challenge coin in recognition of his dedication.
- Battalion Chief Griffin awarded him his retirement badge.
- Retired Engineer Partain presented him with the flag flown at Station 36 during his final shift.
- Fire Chief Bob Wallace joined colleagues in sharing stories and congratulating Mike on his outstanding career.
