Welcome Back, Station 39

After being temporarily closed since August for mold remediation and building repairs, City of Lawrence Fire Department Station 39, at 4751 N Richardt Ave, is officially back open. Our crews moved back into the station as of yesterday, and it’s great to have them home again.

During the closure, our firefighters continued serving the community without interruption from Station 38, ensuring emergency response times were not impacted.
