Optimist Club recognizes students' excellence

Mayor Steve Collier proclaimed November 28 as Aiden Mauck & Connor Gin Day in the City of Lawrence in recognition for their outstanding achievement and contributions to their school communities. Principals and teachers from Belzer Middle School and Fall Creek Valley Middle School joined Optimists and family members at the Breakfast Optimist Club at Bernie's Place to recognize Mauck & Gin. This is the 59th year the Optimist Club has been in continuous service to the community. (More photos under Community News)
