City celebrates with Fortune Academy students

The City of Lawrence is proud to partner with our friends at the Fortune Academy to recognize and honor Dyslexia Awareness Month. This morning, Economic Director Cam Starnes delivered Mayor Collier’s official Proclamation in support of the Fortune Academy and as a call for all Lawrence citizens to celebrate October as Dyslexia Awareness month. LFD Chief Dino Batalis and LPD Chief David Hofmann took part in the balloon send-off with the students this morning.
