National Night Out events take place August 7 throughout city

Captain Tracy Cantrell and Deputy Chief Curtis Bigsbee placed the National Night Out sign at the entry to Watson Farms. Teams of public safety officers, members of the Collier Administration, and volunteers will visit events throughout the city.

National Night Out (NNO) is next Tuesday evening. Beginning August 7th at 5:00 p.m., a public safety roll call will take place at the City of Lawrence Indiana Government Center.

Afterwards, three teams of Lawrence police officers, Neighborhood Crime Watch coordinators, City of Lawrence Fire Department firefighters, EMT’s, City of Lawrence Indiana officials, Marion County Prosecutor's Office representatives, Lawrence Police Explorers cadets, faith-based community leaders, and Beacon of Hope Crisis Center advocates, will visit each location hosting an event.
