Just Wingin It with Our First Responders contest will take place Saturday at 11:30

Don't miss the action tomorrow at Community Safety Day when LPD and LFD will face off for the third annual Just Wingin It with Our First Responders wing eating contest. Each year, the departments raise money and create a great event as they compete to see who can consume the hottest BW3 chicken wings in a relay style competition. Chief Dave Hofmann and Chief Dino Batalis lead their police and fire teams in the annual contest. In 2016, LPD won; in 2017, LFD took the title. The contest will take place at 11:30 am tomorrow at Station 40, during Community Safety Day.
