The City of Lawrence is proud to celebrate Fitzgerald’s Lunch House for being recognized on Yelp’s first-ever list of the “Top 100 Sandwich Shops in the United States.” Based on ratings and reviews from Yelp’s community of contributors, the list highlights sandwich spots across the country known for their outstanding food and customer satisfaction.

Fitzgerald’s is one of only two sandwich shops in Indiana to receive this national recognition — the other being Oh Mamma’s on South Avenue in South Bend. Among thousands of eateries reviewed, Fitzgerald’s stood out for its consistently high volume of five-star reviews, earning it a place among the top-rated lunch destinations in the country.
