Big Brothers / Big Sisters create bonds for youth and mentors

The Lawrence Police Department partnered with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Indiana at Starbucks on Pendleton Pike for an event with youth last weekend. Mayor Steve Collier and Chief David Hofmann joined the gathering to meet volunteers and their matches. The Big Brothers / Big Sisters mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.
