Kiwanis Club delivers care packages to LPD

The Kiwanis Club of Lawrence delivered totes of snack and berages yesterday afternoon for officers and staff of LPD. Deputy Chief Gary Woodruff said the ongoing support of the Kiwanis Club is very appreciated by officers and LPD personnel. "In fact, the totes included notes of appreciation and plenty for all three shifts, investigations and our front office staff," Woodruff said.
