Crews continue progress on new police station at 5150 N. Post Road

The new police station is almost waterproof now with the roof of the second floor nearly complete, and exterior walls, bricks, windows being installed. "Interior floor plans are coming together on all three levels," said LPD Chief David Hofmann. He said 65 construction crew members are working daily to complete the project. He said he hopes LPD will move into the new facility in early October.
