LFD kicks off Smoke Alarm Blitz

October 24, 2019

Smoke alarms are one of the most important items to have in your house when it comes to your family’s safety, but they are susceptible to worn-out batteries. Every October, Lawrence Firefighters and Mayor Collier canvass neighborhoods to check residents’ old smoke alarms and install new ones when needed. If you have an old smoke alarm that you would like to have checked or completely replaced (while supplies last,) please contact the Lawrence Fire Department at 317-547-4371.
