Honoring the Memory of Firefighter Jeff Holt

Today, we remember LFD Firefighter Jeff Holt. On April 30, 2018, Firefighter Holt suddenly passed away after completing his annual physical assessment training.

The Lawrence Fire Department, Firefighter Holt's family, and officials from the City of Lawrence met at Station 36 to honor his memory.

Firefighter Holt was hired as a full time Lawrence firefighter in 1996. During his career with the LFD, Jeff served as an Engineer, Lieutenant, Division Chief of Training, and a Deputy Chief of Operations.
