You are invited to Lawrence Community Safety Day

Mark your calendars for Community Safety Day 2021. This FREE event is scheduled for Saturday, August 14th, 10am to 2pm, at LFD Station 40 (9530 E 59th St.) 

Come learn about services provided throughout the Lawrence community through Lawrence Police Department and City of Lawrence Fire Department demonstrations. 

There will be FREE hots dogs and giveaways from vendors, and at 12:30pm, you can watch our first responders battle it out in a chicken wing eating contest featuring wings from Foster's Catering.
