CITY OF LAWRENCE PROVIDES RESOURCES TO SAVE ENERGY COSTS
Statewide initiative will provide savings and energy efficiency
LAWRENCE, IN – Residents of the city of Lawrence are encouraged to participate in the Indiana Office of Energy Development (IOED), Indiana Saver Program. With the support of $182 million in federal funding, the program is designed to provide Indiana residents with utility bill energy savings while enhancing home comfort and energy efficiency throughout the state. The measures aim to reduce energy consumption and lower costs for families throughout the state.
“I encourage all Lawrence residents to join Hoosiers from around the state and apply now through the program’s online portal to begin the eligibility review process”, said City of Lawrence Mayor Deb Whitfield. “The Indiana Energy Saver Program will provide cost savings in the form of an upfront discount on eligible products installed by qualified contractors.” “Potential improvements could include air sealing, insulation, and equipment replacements such as space heating, cooling systems and water heaters.”
These measures aim to reduce energy consumption and lower costs. Lawrence residents who are eligible will receive a no-cost home energy audit to identify potential improvements. To learn more about the program and to apply now, please visit: www.IndianaEnergySaver.com.
