Public Access to Lawrence Municipal Buildings Restricted

Due to COVID-19, public access to the City of Lawrence Government Center and all other City of Lawrence municipal buildings shall be restricted to City employees and other persons deemed essential by the Office of the Mayor, the Chief of Police, the Fire Chief, the Mayor's designee, and the City Clerk.

The Mayor hereby authorizes City departments to make the necessary arrangements and accommodations to allow public meetings to continue in the City of Lawrence Government Center, and further for the public to participate both in person and virtually in accordance with the Governor's Executive Orders and guidance from the Public Access Counselor. The public is encouraged to attend public meetings virtually if possible. Information on how to attend the meetings virtually can be found on the City's website or by calling the Mayor's Office.
