LFD Family Assistance Fund Toy Drive

This past weekend, on Saturday, December 20, the Lawrence Firefighters Family Assistance Fund once again showed what makes our community so special.

Founded in 1988 by Dino Batalis, this incredible program has supported the children of Lawrence for decades, providing beds, food, and toys to help families enjoy a brighter holiday season.

Thanks to the generosity of our local businesses and the overwhelming support of our community, this year’s toy drive was a tremendous success. Together, we were able to provide toys, food, gift cards, and helping hands to 489 children in Lawrence.

A special thank you to Chairperson Firefighter Shane West and the rest of the committee for their dedication and countless hours of hard work in making this effort possible.
