A Milestone for Public Safety

Today, Mayor Deb Whitfield signed the Collective Bargaining Agreements with the Lawrence Professional Firefighters Association, Local 416, and the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 159 at the Lawrence Government Center.
These agreements, reached through open collaboration, ensure competitive pay and annual increases for our dedicated police and firefighters over the next four years. They were unanimously adopted by both unions!
Thank you to everyone who worked hard to support our first responders and strengthen our community!
