AFL makes improvements to theater's vestibule

Major changes are taking place at the Theater at the Fort this month. Executive Director Judy Byron said grants were  secured from the Lilly Endowment  and Summer Youth Program Fund to enable Arts for Lawrence to renovate the front of the historic building.

Byron said the grant enables the former front of the building to be removed, new concrete to be poured and a new vestibule will be built to allow Arts for Lawrence to promote their events with a marquee. AFL contracted with a local firm, PCG to make the renovations to the building.
