Police Week 2018: citizens show appreciation for law enforcement
May 15, 2018

LPD Deputy Chiefs Curtis Bigsbee and Gary Woodruff, and Chief David Hofmann thank the Blackwells for their kind gifts of food and cards during Police Week. Robbie Blackwell, with the assistance of his mother, Stephanie, kicked off the celebrations honoring LPD's officers on Monday when they delivered an array of food and cards to the Government Center during the Middle Shift. The Blackwells showered officers with meals from Buffalo Wild Wings, a custom-made cake and handmade cards of appreciation to LPD's officers. He also prepared individual customized gift baskets for each of the canine officers during this week of appreciation.
