LPD's Explorer Post expands to 35

LPD's Explorer Post #160 will celebrate another year of service to this community and swear-in its newest cadets in a ceremony this evening at the Lawrence Government Center at 7:00 p.m. Chief David Hofmann said this is the 33rd consecutive year for the group, and it is the longest continued post in Indiana.The eight new cadets will join the current 27 Explorers who have contributed more than 2000 service hours to this community in 2018.
