Crime Stoppers offers Shred-IT Day this Saturday

Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana will offer shredding services Saturday, April 27 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Lawrence Government Center, according to LPD Deputy Chief Gary Woodruff. He said a $5 fee per shredding box is requested. In addition to shredding, Walgreens will sponsor the DEA drug-take back service during the same hours. No needles or sharp objects may be accepted. Technology Recyclers will also be on site to accept televisions and computer monitors ($10 each) while personal electronics and computers may be surrendered for free during the event. Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana uses funds from Shred It events to raise their reward fund to help keep communities safe. No tax dollars are utilized for the Crime Stoppers operating fund.
