A very special thank you to Bloomington-based Cardinal Spirits for donating 5 gallons of sanitizer to our first responders on Friday, March 27. And thank you to Ray Cox, owner of Elite Beverages here in Lawrence who helped get this done.
Ray drove down to Bloomington early Friday, picked up the hand sanitizer, and delivered it to the LPD Headquarters.
It is overwhelming how local businesses have stepped up to do what they can to help get us through the Covid-19 crisis.
