City of Lawrence to launch Bike Share Program

OK. The billboard is up. The beans have been spilt. The City of Lawrence is getting a Bike Share Program!
How much will it cost?
Pay as you go will be $1.50 per 30 minutes. Monthly memberships will be available for $10 per month and include free trips under an hour, then $1.50 per 30 minutes. Annual memberships will be available for $30 per year and include free trips under an hour, then $1.50 per 30 minutes.
The Tour Lawrence Bike Share will launch on Friday, October 8th. We are starting out with 10 bikes and 2 docking stations, one at the Lawrence Government Center and one at the Fort Ben Cultural Campus.
