Dry grass + Fireworks = Disaster

The City of Lawrence Fire Department urges all of our citizens to use caution when displaying and disposing of fireworks. Attending a professional fireworks show is the safest way to enjoy fireworks, but if you choose to set off fireworks, always have a fire extinguisher or water supply, such as a hose or bucket of water, nearby.
