City Hosts Budget Workshops Open to the Public

City of Lawrence Controller Tyler Douthit, along with Mayor Collier, Chief of Staff Hofmann and all City Department Leaders, have hosted five “2023 Budget Workshops” this week, with four more scheduled for tonight and this coming Monday. 

These informational meetings allow all citizens an inside glimpse into the development of the City’s 2023 Proposed Budget, and the opportunity to ask questions and offer input. Open to the public and with all elected officials in Lawrence invited, City Administration officials encourage attendance at the remaining Budget Workshops, set for tonight (Thursday, July 7) at 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm, and Monday, July 11 at 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Meetings are held in the Government Center first floor Conference Room, to the left upon entering the building.
