Swearing in Ceremony of Mayor Deborah Whitfield

On January 1, 2024, we welcomed our new Mayor, Deborah Whitfield, as she was sworn in to office by Judge Kimberly Bacon! The Lawrence Common Council and City Clerk, Leatrice Adkisson, were sworn in by Judge John Chavis.
