Never Forget, Always Honor Ceremony at DFAS

Yesterday morning, Mayor Deb Whitfield joined the 9/11: Never Forget, Always Honor ceremony at DFAS-Indianapolis.

In her remarks, she reflected:

“On September 11, 2001, America was forever changed… Here in Lawrence, and especially among those who serve at DFAS, we know the importance of duty, service, and sacrifice. May we carry that spirit forward—not just today, but every day.”

We honor all who were lost, and we thank those who continue to serve our community and our country.
