Clear Choices Clean Water

The City of Lawrence Stormwater Department is partnering with Clear Choices Clean Water to raise awareness about how the everyday choices we make can impact our waterways.
This month’s pledge is all about healthy soil and the simple choices we can make to improve soil health!
Healthy soil should have a sweet, earthy smell and feel soft, moist, and crumbly when you dig into it.
Healthy soil does more than help plants thrive. It absorbs rainwater, reduces stormwater runoff, and helps keep our waterways clean. It can also mean healthier gardens that require less work from us!
